Board of Directors

The American Society of Evidence-Based Policing (ASEBP) was established to drive the evolution of policing in America through the use of scientific evidence. In early 2015, police professionals nationwide recognized a common concern: much of police practice lacked support from well-founded research. This realization led a dedicated group of friends and colleagues to form ASEBP, where it was founded as an organization committed to developing and promoting evidence-based policing.

Our founding members, who remain active in public safety as police officers, sergeants, lieutenants, chiefs, crime analysts, and other in other professional capacities, share a unified vision for change—one that prioritizes evidence-based practices in policing. We are passionate about making a lasting impact on the profession and invite you to join us in this mission. Click on the bios below to learn more about our team.
